))) That was not me, who translated the problems this time. They were originally in English, and Mike translated them into Russian ;-) I have nothing to do with the coming contest. But thank you anyway for being so kind )))

Forgot to say – it’s a difficult thing to make a contest, but it’s even more difficult to reconcile with the idea that you have to miss the contest and lose rating points… :-( For a programmer like you it’s hard… So, good luck one more time)) |

No need to thank me for each contest. Frankly speaking, I feel embarassed, and... ashamed for the comment I made some days ago (hope, you know what I'm speaking about). Forgot to ask you earlier not to mention me. Moreover, one of the translations is yours)) |

... it's my fault :(( I must have read the Russian statement not carefully enough. I thought the males should have the same amount of points at the same time. |

UPD: And many thanks to Julia for her devoted help in translating the 8th round in a row. |

Хорошо, я очень постараюсь. Только единственная проблема: не знаю, о чем писать :-( Дело в том, что я не принадлежу к сфере программирования, а хочется написать что-то, что будет интересно для пользователей. Может, подскажете что-нибудь? Буду чрезвычайно признательна ;-))

Thanks a lot)) We're very pleased! It's such a wonderful thing, when so many gentlemen, the whole Codeforces team wish you happy Women's Day! Having heard these warm words, any lady would feel needed and admired.

You're absolutely right: I've never met a real military Marshall, but this makes no difference, because my comparison was intended as a joke. |

I think this picture is metaphoric: the lion symbolizes a problem that you have to solve. It's ernomous, firm, hard to defeat, but... you crush it mercilessly!!!! You do it with taste, like a real military man, like a Marshall ;-) |

Everything will be fine! We all believe in it)) Wish you good luck!

))) I've overlooked it. Thanks God everyone got me right! I always fear hurting someone.

Didn't get you, sorry. What do you mean by this? I wished mahbub.kuet good luck. But knowing that computer programming is a very hard business, I supposed that it's extremely difficult to become a Marshall, it requires a lot of effort. I tried to express my understanding.
My remark was never meant to hurt someone. My apologies, in case somebody (mahbub.kuet especially) got me wrong. |

Good luck on your way to being a Marshall)) I must be pretty hard...

:-))) Дим, насмешил, спасибо! Особенно если взглянуть на мой нынешний "портрет", то сразу поймешь - имея такого человека в штабе, за армию можно быть спокойным. |

Hello. If you write a comment in Russian it can be seen through the Russian interface only, so those, who use the English interface cannot see it. But if you write a comment in English, it's available throught both of them: English and Russian. The idea behind it is the following: comments in Russian can distract non-Russian speakers, they might feel uneasy not being able to understand what is spoken about. As for Russian-speaking users, they can get the idea of a comment in English, as English is heavily used in computer programming.
If you write a blog entry in Russian, it's not displayed on the list of the recent blog entries in the English interface. It would be great if you translated your blog entries into English, using the link "Know English?" that is in the upper right corner of your Russian version. All the best, Julia |

Да, вы правы. У меня, как правило, рифмуются 2 строки из четырех: вторая и четвертая. Я делаю упор на ритм: стараюсь не отступать от 4-стопного хорея (конечно, в последней части его нет, но так задумано, перебой ритма как бы передает изменение настроения). |

Hello)) Glad to see you here. Are you going to take part in the coming Codeforces Beta Round#3, and what are your expectations?

I'm terriblly sorry, but I don't. Google seems to be the best one so far. But as you might have already noticed, the quality leaves much to be desired. We do want to make Codeforces more appealing to non-Russian speakers, we're working on this.
But for now, please, do not hesitate to ask me to translate anything for you, or clear up anything from your google translation. Moreover, it's far easier for me to translate into Russian ;) So, just let me know. Best regards. |
